Ilford

Workbench

by Todd on February 22, 2012

I’ve been so enamored of my Holga lately that haven’t shot the Bronica much at all (check out my new Holga site, BTW). There was a roll of long-expired Ilford Delta 3200 in it, and I had no real idea what was even on it. I developed the roll yesterday. Big ugly stripe across the [...]

New shots on Ilford FP4

by Todd on September 19, 2011

Just sort of a random collection. Shot with the F100 and Zeiss 100/2 Makro-Planar (as usual…hehe…it’s hard not to use this great combo!). Developed in 1:25 Rodinal, for 10 minutes, in my new Kindermann metal tank. The feature shot of the truck, above, was shot at box speed (125), as were the first five shots [...]

Metal Tanks and Reels

by Todd on September 19, 2011

When I first jumped into developing my own film, I thought the metal reels looked a lot harder to load, so I bought a cheap plastic tank with two plastic reels. They’ve basically been fine, and are indeed very easy to load. But one of the reels seems to have developed a problem, and my [...]

Kim on Three Films

by Todd on June 25, 2011

My friend Kim visited earlier this week for some headshots, and it gave me a chance to run through a few rolls of film. It was great fun, but it had been too long since I shot with the Bronica. This was the first time shooting with the new Speed Grip, and I screwed [...]

Coop and His Dogs

by Todd on April 5, 2011

Coop’s been a buddy of mine for a long time, and he is in fact the one who pushed me into photography by loaning me a copy of Photoshop shortly after I bought my first dSLR. We’re mutually bad influences on each other, encouraging the purchase of new, exciting, and generally unnecessary gear. It’s [...]

City Park pool in early spring. These were shot on Ilford XP2 with the Bronica SQ-Ai, developed by the local camera store, and scanned by me.

Ilford XP2 Super

by Todd on February 23, 2011

These are from the second roll of film I’ve run through my Bronica SQ-Ai. The film is Ilford XP2 Super, which if you don’t know, is a black and white film which is designed to be processed in C-41 (color) chemicals. I was very excited to get this roll back from University Camera, and thrilled [...]
